Returning to Rutgers – Institutional Plan for Restart

Members of the Rutgers Community:

Two months ago I shared with you Returning to Rutgers, our strategy for repopulating Rutgers University. We continue to refine this plan and recently completed a comprehensive restart plan, Returning to Rutgers – Institutional Plan for Restart, that has, in accordance with Governor Phil Murphy’s Executive Order 155, been submitted on President Holloway’s behalf to the New Jersey Office of the Secretary of Higher Education (OSHE).

Our guiding principle remains the health and safety of our community. This document provides additional and in-depth information on academics, student life, clinical operations, transportation, athletics, research, and a host of relevant issues at Rutgers.

Our safe return is a shared responsibility, therefore please visit the site and familiarize yourselves with our processes as we move forward with welcoming back our community. As with all plans, we expect updates on a regular basis that reflect the conditions that surround us. In order to minimize confusion, the plan will be updated every Tuesday morning, and for ease of use, a summary sheet of changes will be available.
