Update on Booster Vaccination for Faculty and Staff

I am following up on my correspondence of January 4, 2022, with further information about the booster requirement at the university.
All employees who are eligible to receive a vaccine booster must do so and must upload proof of having received a booster by January 31, 2022. If you have not already received your booster, information on scheduling one can be found at https://coronavirus.rutgers.edu/covid-19-vaccine/.
Employees who have received medical or religious exemptions from the vaccine requirement are exempt from the booster requirement.
Persons are eligible for vaccine boosters six months after their last mRNA vaccine (i.e., Pfizer or Moderna) or two months after having received a J&J vaccine.
Previous or Active Infections
Employees who have recently tested positive may extend this booster deadline by 90 days from the date of their positive COVID test. The application process can be found at https://rtr.ipo.rutgers.edu/vaccines/.
